02 — Disclaimers

Disclaimers.

Southern Utah Medicinals operates within clearly defined boundaries. The disclaimers below describe what this resource does not provide and the kinds of relationships it does not establish through publication or correspondence.

Scope of this resource

  • No medical advice Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Decisions about whether medical cannabis is appropriate for a particular patient — and what specific approach is recommended — are clinical decisions made by a Qualified Medical Provider and a pharmacy medical provider.
  • No legal advice Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice. The application of Utah or federal law to any specific situation depends on facts beyond the scope of a general resource. For personalized legal guidance, please consult a licensed attorney.
  • No clinical relationship Reading this site, subscribing to the newsletter, or contacting the site does not create a clinical, professional, or fiduciary relationship of any kind. Communications are reviewed for general response only and are not treated as clinical communications.
  • Not an emergency channel This site is not monitored continuously and is not equipped to handle medical emergencies, urgent clinical questions, or time-sensitive concerns. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department.
  • No endorsement of third parties Inclusion of any clinic, pharmacy, provider, or other third party in this site does not represent an endorsement, partnership, recommendation, or affiliation of any kind.
  • No compensation for inclusion Southern Utah Medicinals does not receive compensation, payment, or other consideration in exchange for inclusion in or placement within the directory or any other section of the site.

Independence and affiliations

Southern Utah Medicinals is independently operated. The site does not sell cannabis products, does not represent any pharmacy or clinic in any commercial capacity, and is not owned by, controlled by, or otherwise affiliated with any pharmacy, provider, clinic, manufacturer, or industry association.

Use of information at your own discretion

The information published on this site is provided for educational purposes and is offered as-is. Readers are responsible for confirming any specific detail against current state guidance, a licensed clinician, or a licensed attorney before acting on it. Southern Utah Medicinals does not assume responsibility for outcomes resulting from the use of information published here.

03 — Directory

Directory disclaimer.

The directory section of this site lists Qualified Medical Providers and licensed Utah medical cannabis pharmacies serving Southern Utah. Listings are independently compiled and presented for the convenience of patients seeking to identify available resources in the region.

What directory listings represent

  • Listings reflect publicly available information compiled at the time of publication
  • Inclusion is based on publicly verifiable licensure and operation in Southern Utah
  • Listings are presented in directory order without ranking, preference, or featured placement
  • Each listing is intended as a starting point for the reader's own confirmation with the clinic or pharmacy

What directory listings do not represent

  • Listings are not recommendations, endorsements, or referrals of any kind
  • Listings do not represent a partnership, business relationship, or affiliation
  • Listings do not warrant the quality, availability, pricing, or specific services of any clinic or pharmacy
  • Inclusion does not imply that the listed entity has reviewed, approved, or otherwise consented to the listing's content

Confirming details before acting

Hours, fees, telehealth availability, accessibility features, payment methods, accepted patients, and product categories change without notice. Patients are encouraged to confirm any specific detail directly with the clinic or pharmacy before scheduling, traveling, or otherwise acting on a listing.

Requesting changes to a listing

If you are a clinic or pharmacy listed in the directory and wish to request a correction, update, or removal of your listing, please write to the address listed at the end of this document. Requests are reviewed in the order received and addressed within a reasonable timeframe.

Important · Directory limits

The directory is offered as-is and is not a substitute for due diligence. Southern Utah Medicinals does not screen, certify, or vouch for any listed clinic or pharmacy beyond confirming basic publicly available information at the time of listing.

04 — Accuracy

Content accuracy.

Southern Utah Medicinals is committed to maintaining accurate, current information about Utah's medical cannabis program. Statutes, DHHS rules, clinic operations, and pharmacy practices change over time, and content on the site reflects the program at the point of each article's most recent review.

Update cadence

Education articles
Reviewed at least annually and updated when significant changes to the program are publicly announced.
Utah Guide pages
Reviewed at least annually and updated as procedural details change. Each page carries an "Updated" date.
Directory listings
Reviewed periodically and on request. Patients and listed entities may submit corrections at any time.
Site policy
This document is reviewed at least annually and revised as needed. The "Last reviewed" date is shown above.

Limits of accuracy

  • Content may become outdated between scheduled reviews, particularly when state law or DHHS rules are amended
  • Specific values such as fees, possession amounts, and qualifying conditions are most likely to shift over time
  • Pharmacy and clinic operational details — hours, telehealth availability, accepted patients — change frequently
  • Articles describe the general structure of the program; they cannot account for the specifics of any individual situation

Reporting corrections

If you spot an error, an outdated detail, or a broken link on any page of the site, the most useful thing you can do is let us know. Corrections may be submitted through the Contact page or sent directly to the editorial address listed at the end of this document. We review every report and update affected pages as quickly as possible.

05 — Accessibility

Accessibility statement.

Southern Utah Medicinals is committed to making the site usable by the widest possible range of readers, including those who use assistive technologies or who have specific accessibility needs.

Design and development practices

  • Pages are built with semantic HTML and structured headings to support screen readers and keyboard navigation
  • Color combinations are selected with attention to contrast for readers with low vision
  • Text sizes are scalable; readers may adjust browser zoom or text size without breaking layout
  • Interactive elements include accessible labels and visible focus states
  • Decorative imagery is marked appropriately so it is not announced by assistive technology
  • The site is responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile viewports

Known limitations

Despite ongoing attention to accessibility, some limitations remain. Among the items currently being reviewed:

  • Map placeholders in directory listings are visual only and may not convey location through assistive technology — text address information is provided alongside
  • Some embedded third-party content, where used, may not meet the same accessibility standards as the rest of the site
  • PDF documents linked from the site, where present, may not be fully accessible; equivalent information is offered as HTML wherever possible

Requesting accommodations

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need information presented in an alternative format, or have a suggestion for improving accessibility on this site, please write to the address listed at the end of this document. Requests are taken seriously and addressed as promptly as is reasonably possible.

Standards reference

The site is designed with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. While the site aims to meet these guidelines across all pages, formal compliance is reviewed periodically rather than continuously, and improvements are ongoing.

VerifyAccessibility is a moving target as standards and assistive technologies evolve. This statement reflects current practice and is updated as both the site and the relevant standards change.
06 — External Links

External links.

This site occasionally links to external websites, including the Utah Department of Health and Human Services, clinic and pharmacy websites listed in the directory, and other public sources of information relevant to Utah's medical cannabis program. External links are provided for reader convenience.

What linking does and does not represent

  • Inclusion of an external link does not represent an endorsement of the linked site, its operator, or any content found there
  • Southern Utah Medicinals does not control external sites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, accessibility, or accuracy
  • External links are reviewed periodically; linked sites may change their content, structure, or availability without notice
  • Following an external link will take you outside Southern Utah Medicinals; the policies on this page no longer apply once you have left the site

Reporting broken or problematic links

If you find a broken external link, a link that no longer goes where it should, or a link to content that appears inappropriate for the site, please report it through the Contact page. Reports are reviewed and acted on as part of routine site maintenance.
